The CFPB has announced that it will be holding a Consumer Advisory Board meeting with Director Cordray on February 27, 2014 in Washington, D.C.  The CFPB’s announcement only identifies “the consumer experience in the credit reporting market” as a discussion topic.  However, the meeting agenda indicates that other topics will be discussed, including HMDA rulemaking.

At the meeting, Director Cordray will give remarks, and there will be comments by consumer groups, community and industry representatives, and members of the public.

Last month, the CFPB announced that it was seeking new Consumer Advisory Board members and asked interested persons to submit applications by February 28, 2014.
